    As a potential/existing user of Quickmart, Quickmart would like to take this opportunity to both thank you for your potential patronage and/or patronage and to share with you the importance it places on protecting the privacy of information it gathers from you in accordance with applicable state and federal laws.

    Quickmart is a Nigerian online shopping gateway which is and shall continue to be subject to federal and state privacy laws regarding the collection and exchange of your information. The following is Quickmart’s privacy policy regarding the customer’s information it collects with respect to its use

    In this privacy policy, you will find: (i) an explanation of the types of information Quickmart collects from its Customers and the means used to collect such information, (ii) an explanation of how Quickmart shares the information collected from its customers, and (iii) an explanation of how Quickmart protects Customers’ information.

  2. Information collected and the means used in collecting them

    Quickmart collects information about its customers that is necessary to provide the services embedded in it. These necessary pieces of information are collected from the following sources:
    1. Information it receives from you on your downloading, signing up for and use of it, the information may include but is not limited to your name, address, date of birth;
    2. Information about its Customers’ transactions with it; the information may include, but is not limited to claims and payment history; and
    3. Information it receives from a consumer-reporting agency or any relevant authority.
    The collection of the customer’s information from the above-stated sources may be done upon downloading the Quickmart App, Registration on the App, and use of the App.

  3. How we share Customer information with non-affiliated third parties:

    Quickmart does not share information about its customers or former customers with non-affiliated third parties other than as permitted or required by law. For example, it may share any or all of the information listed above with non-affiliated third parties, including but not limited to, the following reasons:
    1. Information that is necessary for the provision of the service in a manner that is consistent with the usual and customary services provided via the Quickmart App;
    2. Information that is necessary to protect the confidentiality or security of its Customer’s records;
    3. Information that is necessary to resolve Customer’s disputes or inquiries;
    4. Information that is required by authorized individuals or entities who are assessing Quickmart’s legal compliance;
    5. Information that is required for Quickmart compliance with the law; and
    6. Information that is necessary to protect against or prevent fraud, unauthorized transactions, claims, or other liability
  4. Quickmart practices regarding information confidentiality and security:

    Quickmart maintains physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to guard customers’ information. These safeguards include but are not limited to the following:
    1. Restriction of access to nonpublic personal information about its Customers and former Customers to those employees who need to know that information in order to assist in providing services or products to the customer;
    2. Prohibiting its employee(s) from impermissible sharing of its Customer’s information, ensuring that erring employees are adequately punished, and taking reasonable steps to ensure the retrieval of information impermissibly shared;
    3. Use of a secure internet and e-mail provider to protect the confidentiality of electronic communications; and
    4. Non-storage of customers’ information in any form on its database.
